With the completion of my last and most difficult final last Monday, my sophomore year of college has drawn to a close. It's bittersweet! I can't believe that my college career is halfway over, but I know that I've got a lot more schooling left to finish, so I'm happy to have another year under my belt. This school year, especially this past spring semester, has by far been the most difficult when it comes to course load. I took 16 credit hours, nothing exceptional, but those 16 hours kicked my butt. In my opinion, I came out on top, with an imperfect, but still impressive, GPA. I am most excited to be finished with organic chemistry... the devil in my midst. This year of orgo has tried and tried to kick my butt, but with an A for the first semester and a B for the second, I'd say I didn't let it beat me. I've been enrolled in some sort of chemistry course for 5 years straight, and I'm thankful for a year-long break from it until senior year. I love chemistry, and I'm minoring in it, but it is a challenge! Next semester, the first semester of my JUNIOR year, I'm looking forward to getting more into my major, with the majority of my classes being Biology-related. This school year from hell has warranted a long and relaxing summer. I quit my job, and I have huge plans (more info later) to make this summer the best one of my life (thus far). I can't wait to see what this summer has in store for me, and I'm grateful that I have survived this school year. I can't wait to tell you more about this summer's plans, and I can't wait for these big changes!
Sincerely,
T
