Well, people, my last blog post was about the start of the new year, and here we are, four months in. 2015 is 1/3 of the way over! Crazy. Yesterday was my last final of the semester, so with that weight off of my shoulders, I remembered I have a blog to run. Oops. So now, I'm a senior in college. Where did the time go??? I've got what I expect to be another 4.0 semester behind me, and I only have 25 hours left until graduation (which makes for two easy semesters ahead).
This goes without saying, but 2015 has been a whirlwind. I'm looking back at the worries I had right after New Year's and I was right. Some crazy important things are happening. I'm officially a rising senior, I'm three weeks and a day away from my MCAT Test Day, and a month after that, I start the application process for the Navy HPSP. I've also made the decision to apply for the Army HPSP as well; the programs are extremely similar, but vary in a few little details. I'm in the middle of the application and interview process for a new exciting job in a nearby hospital, and I've also officially started the medical school application process. I'm still wondering how I had such a successful semester, with studying for MCAT for the last seven weeks on top of everything else, but I'm thankful that I've kept it all under control. I've also built some amazing new relationships that bring a lot of happiness and support into my life that I didn't really know I needed, and I'm so excited for the future. :) With school out of the way until August, I'm so ready to focus on the MCAT for the next three weeks and knock it out of the ballpark. Then, after that, we move on to the next big thing. This year has already turned out to be one of the best, and it's only going to get better! 2015, please treat me well.
Sincerely,
T
