This rainy and dreary morning, I decided to write about something without which I cannot live. I need this certain thing at least once a day, sometimes more than once, and I look forward to every experience I have with it. I'll drive miles just to get some, and I yearn to try new kinds. I have my favorites and my go-to's, but I am never disappointed when I try something new. The warmth and happiness that this thing brings me is unexplainable. It heals me when I am sick and makes even the best days better. I want to share it with everyone I love and cherish. It brings me closer to others who share the same love, and we use it as a social gathering. We plan our days around it. Nothing else can come before it. This thing is coffee. Whether it be mochas, cappuccinos, lattes, iced, frap, or black, I cannot live without it. Okay, I admit: this post is super dramatic. But I really do love coffee. I'm drinking some as we speak. This sore throat and sniffle is no match for my best friend, the Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha (grande, extra hot, stirred with heavy cream). SURE, this makes me the epitome of common white girl, but when you're in college and you find something that makes you happy and can improve what you know is going to be a bad day, YOU CHERISH IT. So, my fellow coffee-lovers, drink up. Don't feel bad for having an addiction, because there are many worse things to which you can be addicted. Get your coffee and don't regret it. EVER.
Sincerely,
T
